Active Shooter & Hostile Event Training
Active Shooter & Hostile Events (ASHE) are no longer a matter of if, but rather when and where. This course has been developed to help teach average citizens basic medical care so they can help save their family and friends lives in an emergency. Participants will obtain the knowledge and skills required to control bleeding and provide other vital lifesaving procedures in those critical early minutes of an Active Shooter or Hostile Event.
This Occupational Health and Safety course provides basic awareness training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of workplace hazards. The course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and filing a complaint. The 10-hour course is intended for entry level workers and the 30-hour course is intended for supervisors, foremen and managers.

CPR Certification & Renewal Courses
Our CPR classes use video-based, instructor-led training to help teach adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This CPR training course will teach you to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until more advanced care arrives to take over.
The goal of this course is to increase the participant’s awareness of the safety and health hazards that may be encountered at a natural or human-made disaster site. The importance of personal protective equipment and proper decontamination procedures used to mitigate the hazards will be emphasized. Participants will support the use of an Incident Command System and gain awareness of traumatic incident stress that can result from working conditions and measures to reduce this stress.
Disaster Site Worker Training - OSHA 7600
The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Classroom Course is designed to help provide healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR and First Aid, use an AED, and relieve choking. This is an intermediate course that builds on the basic courses required of Healthcare Providers.
The TECC has been developed using the principles of civilian trauma care and modern combat medicine to teach basic medical care to officers. This will allow them to act to save their own lives or the lives of others by taking action before emergency medical services are capable of reaching injured officers or other victims. Participants will obtain the knowledge and skills required to control bleeding and provide other vital lifesaving procedures in those critical early minutes of an ASHE.
Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC)
This course is intended for experienced first responders assigned to a truck company or technical rescue company who would be assigned the task of rescuing victims from more complex scenarios. This will cover lockout/tagout and other steps required to assure the safety of the rescuers and victims. This course will involve visits to facilities with various types of elevators.
The Heartsaver First Aid Training course provides basic first aid and safety skills, equipping individuals to recognize and provide basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses. You'll learn how to identify and care for a variety of medical emergencies, including severe bleeding, shock, minor injuries and other sudden illnesses, as well as how to reduce the risk of disease transmission while providing care. Course admission also includes a basic first aid kit.
