Todd Angell, Training Specialist/SME
Todd is a Training Specialist for Public Safety Specialists. He is responsible for course preparation, development and the instruction of safety subjects for Bracken Engineering Employee’s and their clients.
Todd’s more than 9 years of progressive training, experience and practice in the public safety sector has made him skillful in these areas. Prior to joining Bracken Engineering, Todd served for 6 years in the Marines. As a Navy Corpsman (2007-2012), Todd provide medical care and deployment readiness to a platoon of about 50 infantry Marines. He deployed with 1st BN, 8th Marines from September 2010-March 2011 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. While deployed, he provided battlefield aid to injured Marines, local nationals, and other coalition forces while serving in direct combat operations. Todd participated in over 150 combat patrols and missions during the deployment. Todd also has 371.05 hours of formal Marine Corps Training in tactical combat casualty care with live tissue labs, qualified as a tan belt in the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, and is Qualified with the M-4 military service rifle.
Todd has worked in other public safety positions as well. He was the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Adjunct Instructor at the Eastern New Mexico University (2012-2014), an EMT at Western Connecticut Health Network (2012-2014), an EMT at Florida Hospital Tampa (2014-Present), a Firefighter/EMT for the Largo Fire Rescue (2015-2016), and a Firefighter for the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (2016-Present).
