Jorge Vizcaino, Sr. Training Specialist/SME
Jorge Vizcanio is a Sr. Training Specialist for Public Safety Specialists. He is responsible for course preparation, development and instruction of specialized topics for our clients.
Prior to joining Bracken Engineering, Jorge served for nearly 6 years in several public safety roles, most notably as a Hillsborough County Firefighter and Paramedic (2010-Present). As a Firefighter/Paramedic, Jorge protects life and property by performing firefighting, emergency aid, hazardous materials and fire prevention duties. His duties also include driving fire apparatus, operating pumps, performing fire combat, containment and extinguishment task. As a Paramedic Jorge provides advance life support to the citizens of Hillsborough County.
Jorge is also a Special Operation Technician and Task Force 3 Rescue Specialist (2012-Present). As a Special Operations Technician, he is required to respond to any incident that requires high angle rescue, hazardous materials, confined spaces, trench rescues, structural collapse, and any vehicle/machinery rescue. As a rescue specialist he is responsible for performing the rescue function of the Task Force incident. Implementing technical skills and operating equipment necessary for completing the rescue portion of the action plan.
