Colin Tracey, Sr. Training Specialist/SME
Colin Tracey is a Training Specialist for Public Safety Specialists. He is responsible for course preparation, development and instruction of safety topics for Bracken Engineering, Inc. Employee’s and their clients.
Colin has more than 8 years of progressive training, experience and practice in the public safety field. Prior to joining Bracken Engineering, Colin served in numerous public safety roles. Colin was an EMT-B for Medics Ambulance Service (2008-2009), Armor Correctional Health Services (2008-2009), and for Trinity Air Ambulance (2008-2009). He also held a position as a paramedic at several places: Brandon Regional Hospital and Advanced Cardiovascular Center of Tampa Bay (2013-2014). He also currently works for the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue as a Fire Medic. As a Fire Medic, Colin’s current duties include fire suppression and field treatment of emergent medical conditions and traumatic injuries. Colin protects life and property by performing firefighting, emergency aid, hazardous materials and fire prevention duties. His duties also include driving fire apparatus, operating pumps, performing fire combat, containment and extinguishment task. Colin is also a current member of Florida Task Force 3.
